FAST FACT: Maccas is a lovely place to study

Tonight i played taxi and took B took one of her friends houses, which wouldnt have normally been a problem, except i have a math exam in which i have to study for (less then a week away.. oh goodness me!). So what did i do? i decided to pack up all my math stuff, a bottle of water, my wallet (with shrapnel) and B's ipod and then head to...

Yep. Maccas.





In my defence, it was the only place that was open that was close to B's friends place- she was only gonna be an hour so it was POINTLESS me driving the 15 minutes home only to turn around and go back again.

So, there i am in maccas. i had ordered by frozen coke (caffine?) and was sitting down over viewing the entire semesters work. And im by myself. No distractions, apart from the replay of the crows game i'd already seen, no internet, no bed to lie down on, no movies to watch.

Nothing, except me and my math stuff, and the girl cleaning table.

Side note- she was actually quite lovely. she came and picked up my rubbish, and then asked waht i was doing. which i told her. then when i left and said thanks you, she said good luck. what a nice girl :)

So yes, i have made a discovery.

maccas IS actually a good place to study. If you are alone :)

Fairtrade daaarling

Today, during my english seminar after school (we have to stay at school till 7 o clock! 7!!) (oh and im still here!) i had a pretty exciting moment. Well, me and Claire (of "Little Wonders") did.

So here's the story. We had to start our seminar at 330- which meant we had approximately 15 minutes to drive down to woolies and get "sustanants". So we run to the Smurf-mobile, drove down, and bought chocolate and coke. not the healthiest, but they would keep us going until 700, wouldnt it?

Well we came back (we were late coz i left my laptop in my car) and sat down, started drinking our drinks. it wasnt until about 400 when i saw the following thing:

Now, this got me EXTRA excited. I havnt seen this on CADBURY before. now for all youse who dont know... Fairtrade gives those in 3rd countries producing the food the opportunity to actually recieve the benifits off of it. Look it up on Wiki dudes.


But yes, that got me a bit excited that CADBURY is getting a hold on this too :)

I wish that my street could flood like this... then i could walk around bare footed in the water on the street and parade around in really pretty dresses with my lovelies.

Ode to Christiedarling

:) Yep.. she's the best friend. best best best :)




She's quite remarkable this girl. I've known her for 9 months (a quick txt to her in order to confirm!) and shes seriously the most caring person in the world. no matter what time it is, no matter what i need, she is there in a flash, no questions asked. She's the most beautiful person i know, inside and out, and doesnt care what people think of her. She's an individual. She's unique. Will tell you exactly what she thinks.

She never ever fails to make me smile, and will always take care of me. She's random and spontaneous and likes planning surprises and she keeps lots of good secrets :) shes the sort of person that you can complain for hours to and she'll just go "yeah, i agree". which is good if you talk a lot like me!!

Shes amazing. and she is my happiness :)

Looking to the future

At this very moment, im planning my future. Well, kind of. Im sitting at this computer in the downstairs study room, and am looking up university courses for next year. Now, whilst this may be daunting to some people, or looking to far into the future may be scary for some, but for me its extremly exciting. I know where i want to head, i know what i want to do, and i now am able to take the steps to getting there. Im one of those people that am excited about heading to the "big wide world" and am VERY excited to finally get this year 12 thing i've got going on finished.

It's complicated though. See, i know the GENERAL area of what i want to do, and have exact requirements about what i want to do, but i dont think that it's possible. I want to spend a year studying overseas. I dont think my common Public Relations course will ALLOW me to do such a thing, but man am i trying!

Well according to City University in London, i cant study PR there.


Oh well! as much as im not gaining happiness right now, the fact that ONE day i will be doing all this stuff that i have planned is exciting enough!

Sunday Morning Happiness

Sunday morning.. ahh sunday morning. Today i plan on spending mine on the couch, watching McLeod's Daughters, snuggled under a blanket, and attempting the hw that i was meant to be doing last night...

Well THAT didnt happen, but i still have today, right? plus, none of it is even due till Thursday.. i've got 8 frees from now until then :) ha thats a bad attitude to have, but it doesnt matter. Im in a good mood.
